Recently, a group of high-tech enterprises, including Yingjia Health, TECH-INNO Health and engaged in in-depth discussions with leaders of the Songshan Lake Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, as well as academic representatives including Zeng Zhirong, Vice President of Guangdong Medical University, Professor Kang Jingxuan, Director and Chief Scientist of the Omega-3 Research and Translation Center of Guangdong Medical University, Park Guo Honghui, President of the School of Public Health of Guangdong Medical University, and Professor Liu Yujia, Assistant Dean of the School of Health Technology of Dongguan University of Life Science and Technology.
The participants discussed the joint initiative to establish the "Lipid Nutrition and Medical Health Research Institute," aiming to build a world-leading platform for fat utilization research and promote high-quality development of the nutrition industry.
Chief Scientist Leads Co-Founding of the "Lipidology, Nutrition, and Medical Health Research Institute"

Leveraging the robust research foundation and platform resources of Guangdong Medical University, and led by Professor Kang Jingxuan (an international leader in lipid medicine research with outstanding research achievements in areas such as omega-3), the institute will focus on the fundamental mechanisms of fat metabolism and its central role in precision nutrition, public health, and its deciphering. The institute strives to become a key strategic source for cutting-edge research and translational applications in this field, providing scientific guidance for precision nutrition and chronic disease management in China.
Professor Kang Jingxuan is a leading figure in international lipid research, Director of the Center for Lipid Medicine and Technology at Harvard Medical School, nominated for the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2006 and 2007, a Yangtze River Scholar of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, President of the International Omega-3 Research Society, Founder of the Omega-3 and Global Health Institute, and Director and Chief Scientist of the Omega-3 Research and Translation Center at Guangdong Medical University in Nepal.
Participants reached a key consensus during the strategic discussion: the Institute will focus on "solving public health issues" as its core value proposition, focusing on overcoming bottlenecks in translating scientific research findings into health management practices. The Institute will establish a precise assessment system for lipid health based on individual differences and personalized intervention pathways, providing the public with personalized health services and nutritional support based on "scientific intervention" throughout their lifecycle.
